ECONOMIC CLAIMS CENTER

Since May 2012 Carrollton has run the Information Technology Office of the Deepwater Horizon Economic Claims Center (DHECC). This involves the daily administration of two portals, the attorney portal – accessible only to law firms – and the pro se, or public portal where claimants can apply directly. The data is then passed through a series of Carrollton-developed workflows that validate the documents and information, evaluate the claim and handle all communication with the claimants. Carrollton manages ongoing development, project management and a fully staffed help desk. Since taking over the project in 2012, Carrollton has overseen the adjudication of more than 200,000 claims with up to 500 new claims entering the system daily. More than $3 billion has been paid out to impacted individuals and businesses with an additional $3 billion in claims expected  to be release through 2018.

INSURANCE FUND CUSTOM SOFTWARE

For more than seven years, Carrollton has partnered with one of the fastest-growing insurance providers in Louisiana. The company was dissatisfied with off-the-shelf solutions, and desired a fully developed system that would manage all aspects of their growing fund, including policies, claims, member payments, and agent inquiries.
Carrollton built this system from the ground up in four development phases, ensuring a fully integrated product that is fast and is tailored specifically to proprietary workflows.The system is also structured to make reporting and state-level compliance easy. Carrollton staff maintains help-desk support and bug fixing on a daily basis for system users, as well as ongoing development that scales alongside the company. Since implementation of the new software, our partner has grown more than 750%.
